We had a great stay. The location could not have been more central - literally in the centre of town close to all shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean and very well equipped - we didn't want for anything, it was a true home away from home. 
Only a couple of small issues - the light above the bathroom sink didn't work and the toilet roll holder was missing. Apart from those minor points everything else was great and we'll definitely be booking again in the future.

Very nice place in the optimal location to be in Maldon and go to Chelmsford. Can definitely recommend it!

Martyn's place was in a great location. everything close by. The apartment had lots of space which we really appreciated. l would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Great central location near the high street, conveniently near a car park and to bus stops too. Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

We stayed for a month and felt right at home, loved the apartment,  nice and airy, very warm, the only downsides were the Internet which was extremely slow and the parking, really expensive and we had 3 parking tickets, 2 were because the windscreen was frozen and the ladies from the council could not see the ticket, we managed to cancel one, but we paid way more for the parking than we expected.  Otherwise, all ok!

Really nice place to stay for my family to visit. 
Place was clean and comfortable. 
Sofa’s were not overly comfortable however they were fine if not sitting for long. 

Would 100% book again.

Martyn was quick to remedy a few things that weren't quite right. 

It is a lovely bright flat, overlooking a fabulous square. 

I personally loved the churchbells,  it may bother some. 

The voices from passersby can be loud, on the weekend you can hear the music from the pub.  And this was with the windows closed. However, it was fine for us.

The bed / settee was incredibly uncomfortable. Luckily we had friends nearby with a thick foam to go on top.

My second time staying here on my own with my 2 year old son. Perfect central apartment. Really big for a one bedroom. Love that the kitchen flows into the living room so cam be preparing dinner while little one played. Hope to stay again soon.

Beautiful flat, well equipped and stylish, great little bolt-hole if you want to explore Maldon and its surroundings

This was a last minute booking,  but we're so glad we chose this place. The apartment is in a great location, only 100 meters from the main high street but still felt pretty private as it was set back in King's Courtyard. The front door was a little difficult to find, but WhatThreeWords really helped, as did the kind waitress from the cafe just outside the door.  The apartment doesn't have its own parking but there is a public pay and display close by. It's a little expensive but really convenient. 
The apartment was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was fully kitted out, we definitely appreciated the good knife set, which you don't always get.  And we loved the little touches, the nesspresso pods and tea and coffee, and the fussball table! The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix so week.  
We're really glad we chose to stay here and had a lonely time in Maldon as a result.  Thanks so much.

Great apartment in great little location 5 stars

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Parking is tricky (is a public carpaek nearby but you need to remember to get a new ticket each morning) but other than that was perfect!

Lovely stay at this very clean appartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Maldon. The flat was easy to find and get into, and it is really spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay including cooking facilities and equipment, towels, bedding, soap, washing up liquid etc.
The tea and biscuits provided were a nice extra touch, and our son enjoyed the table football.
We found the courtyard location very pleasant and quiet, except the odd group walking through late at night.
It is close to the moot hall, and so the bells ring every 15 minutes, which we enjoyed as we live next to a cathedral at home, but some may find this disturbing.

This was great for our short stay.  It was pleasant and clean.

The beautiful apartment is large, clean, functional, and centrally located. The host is also very responsive to our questions and requests. Will stay here again.
