We had a relaxing few days at Josua. It was a perfect location for our visit to the Beth Chatto Gardens near Colchester and RHS Hyde Hall. The property was clean, the seating area outside was private and parking on the premises was an asset. It’s a great place to stay in Maldon.

This is a beautiful house with lots of character, and with the benefit of having a modern kitchen and bathrooms. We loved how much care Martyn had taken in restoring his home, and the quality of his decor and furnishings. It was very clean, and there was lots of space for two families to relax in. We also loved relaxing in the garden - especially playing the outdoor Jenga set! We really appreciated how easy it was to walk to the shops, cafes and park. Definitely recommend.
