We had a great weekend stay at historic Josua with the family. The property was very clean, easy to find and access and had plenty of space for cars in the driveway. Only a few small points that the kitchen could be better equipped for a house that size (pots and pans, utensils), the water pressure in the showers is not great and all the upstairs windows are very low so not safe for young children. This didn’t detract too much from our short stay however, the small but well formed garden was lovely, the house was heated well, it’s in a great location and the history of the house is upper interesting. Lots of cupboard space too and a cosy lounge room. Would recommend for a family stay in Maldon.

This is a beautiful house with lots of character, and with the benefit of having a modern kitchen and bathrooms. We loved how much care Martyn had taken in restoring his home, and the quality of his decor and furnishings. It was very clean, and there was lots of space for two families to relax in. We also loved relaxing in the garden - especially playing the outdoor Jenga set! We really appreciated how easy it was to walk to the shops, cafes and park. Definitely recommend.
