Welcome to our unique and characterful 1-bedroom house, built from the historic ruins of the old abbey in Bury St Edmunds. This charming property offers a truly memorable stay, with its rich history and convenient location. ***PARKING*** Located outside the property is on-street permit parking between 9am - 5pm, Mon - Sat. We provide 50 free tickets for our guests to use up at their need. When these run out, there is free parking in the opposite cul-de-sac. There is also further parking a few moments down the street at the Tesco Express (9am - 5pm, Mon - Sat is a max stay for 2 hours). If you have any issues, then please feel free to contact us. The house is spacious and well-appointed, featuring a large fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom boasts a rooftop balcony, providing a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. For those traveling for work, there is a dedicated workspace, perfect for corporate travellers. Situated within walking distance of the town centre, you'll have easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Additionally, the property is conveniently located within walking distance of Green King and West Suffolk Hospital, making it an ideal choice for those visiting for medical purposes or work. Nearby, you'll find the Spread Eagle Pub, a popular local spot for drinks and dining. For any last-minute essentials, there is a Shell garage and Tesco Express within walking distance.
